You would thought I was welcoming my teacher. HAHAHA no way!
I'm just saying Hello for the Spell-It-Right crew. They will come here this Saturday at Mesra Mall, Kerteh. And I bet there will be load of participants made a beeline at the registration counter while their mouth busying memorizing the difficult words.
Fortunately, my school participate the competition 2 years in a row. I did not sure if the last 2 years they managed to participate the National level. I think this year they will make a comeback like last year. They managed to go through state level with the clever girl last year.
I hope they win this year. And believe it or not, I'm one of those who participate the competition.
Through four rounds of audition, I have been chose for being good at spelling. Followed by three "Musketeeress" hahaha! Well they are girls. Two of them are siblings and another one is going to go through SPM.
The competition works as the judges will call out someones name and he/she will go to the mic, affix the headphone. A judge will give you a word, give the definition and use it in a sentence. Then, he/she will be ask to spel the word in 20 seconds. If he/she spell the word correctly, he/she will asked to return to their seat. If not, he/she will be asked to leave the stage.
It has 3 rounds based on the round-robbin-system. The winner will win RM3000 (for secondary school) and will go to the national level on 7th of August.
My team has been practicing for weeks and now ot is time for us to show who are us. Our teacher has been vvveryy helpful during the training. Giving us some useful tips, motivation ad not to forget....WORDS!
We hope we will win and go to the National level. Well, PRAY FOR US!!

Bot Tambang oh Bot Tambang....

TTI.....what a meal
Ummmmmmmmmm.......my tummy started to grumble. Oh I couldn't wait to taste the delicious food that me and my family ordered.
Before we went to B'Benteng TTI, my mum and sis went to a boutique to buy some cloth. We were hungry after that, we did not know where to eat. It was a looooooong time we did not come to TTI. During the first few months we moved to KT, we would came here to take some cool breeze and it is my favourite spot to do my homework. But then I came busy as I was ready for the biggest hurdle last year. So we went to the B'Benteng for some evening meal.
However, it turned out to be our dinner! There were various type of food and it is so marvellous. My mom ordered a Nasi Briyani Arab, my dad asked the waiter a Roti Canai while I ate a Shish Tawook (a grilled chicken breast and a mini chapati). Yummmmmmmmy!
I was hungry as a wolf, I just thought I could eat a whole zebra. Then the waiter gave our food and drinks. Oh! It is so good, no I mean great, no I mean FANTASTIC! Shish Tawook's chicken is well marinated with spices and it is well cooked too. The Roti Canai is delicious too. Mum's Nasi Briyani Arab is good, that was why I took some rice from her to enjoy the taste with the Shish Tawook.
Later, my sister was dying to eat the desserts we ordered, ABC and 'cendol'! It was swwwwwwwwwweeet! And the cendol is very cold, I felt I froze my tounge, huhuhuhu!
It was a fine dinner we had. As we tried to relax, I asked my dad to take a picture of me. There is an island, so....
HAHAHAHA!
Well that's all for now. I think I talked too much. So, hoping you still keep in touch with me.
TATA!

Colourful Pasar Minggu Manir
Pheww..this week is really hectic for me.Juggling between my homework,my usrah,my schoolwork…What a life..Then I remember I didn’t talk about the trip I made to Pasar Minggu Manir. What a colourful experience. Pasar Minggu Manir is where you can shop for all the traditional things from food to vegies, fish and all the household things. But don’t forget about headscarf as well. It is a “syurga tudung”. Actually there many pasar minggu around Kuala Terengganu but I think Pasar Manir is the best. And the reason I love to go there of course the foooooooooooood..
The best thing is I learned the name of the traditional food that can’t be found anywhereelse. From nasi ulam, nasi dagang and kuih kasidah. you name it, you get it
That day my parents bought some food for breakfast. Two pieces of laksam only cost us RM2.50 and can you imagine keropok is eeeeeeeeeeeverywhere….My mum also bought a few nisan which is a kind of sugar and very tasty..This kind of sugar is so popular in Terengganu..
Then I saw this old lady selling traditional handicraft. They were so cheap.A straw mat only cause you RM10.00 and a kind of tray which is called ‘badang’ just cause as low as RM 2.50-RM10.00 depends on the sizes. Man oh man! My mum went ballistic and she bought two of those and a strawmat.
We bought some mangoes that cause us RM2.00 per kg so we decided to buy 2kg and some buah salak. That’s end our shopping trip to Pasar Minggu Manir. If you ever in Terengganu and you want to taste the real traditional food I recommend you to come here visit Pasar Minggu Manir. It is not very far from the town centre. Chiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuu see you again….
